Our client has commenced a search for An Assistant Site Manager with structural and fit out to deliver a £15m refurbishment and alteration of an existing office block into 100no residential apartments, Located near the centre of Peterborough to completion
The flats would be created through partial demolition and conversion of the upper floors to create new floors.
Our client is well established in the market and has delivered projects across the UK and Ireland. With a wide ranging portfolio of works and with a sharp upturn in projects the right candidate will have the opportunity to work on a landmark scheme with an established company offering further scope for progression.
The ideal assistant site Manager would have a stable work history and have experience of delivering residential new build and refurb projects.
Individuals with a strong understanding of various aspects of structural and fit out construction, would also be well considered
Usual duties will apply from overall management of the site team, technical management of the programme and works, through to management of the client and surrounding aspects such as. health & safety, temporary works and client meetings)
The ideal Assistant site Manager will be degree qualified in civil engineering or construction management and will be able to show a history through to management over the last 3-5 years. It is crucial that candidates can show a tenure of delivering projects from beginning to end having worked on similar projects in the UK or Ireland
