Job Description
Small family business based in Wimbledon/raynes park selling both trade and retail and are looking for a new shop manager, the position is available immediately.
The successful candidate will work Mon to Fri 7.00am to 5.00pm and alternate Sat 8.00am to 12.00.
The Role:
- Serving customers, dealing with any queries
- Stock management
- Deliveries in and out of the store
- Dealing with any telephone queries effectively and communicating with customers, colleagues and suppliers
- Other sales related duties
- Ordering goods
About you:
You will be a hands on active person who has previous experience working on a trade counter in this business. Ideally you will be currently working in a sales role with excellent product knowledge and customer service skills.
Skills and experience required:
- Trade Counter Experience
- Excellent customer service
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and be pro-active
- Able to work on own initiative and create new sales opportunities
- Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good IT Skills
- Experience of working in the industry and product knowledgeBenefits
- Basic salary of £25,000.00 depending on experience
Bonus Structure; based on building sales and increasing client base
