Role: Auditor (Technical/Science/Engineering)

Location: North West based (Regular UK wide travel)

Salary: Competitive

Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday

Benefits: Company car, fuel expenses

Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for an Auditor to join a Global company.

Our client is looking for someone who has previous experience working to BS EN 19011 standards or if you come from a technical background looking to step into an auditing role, full training can be provided

Responsibilities

  • Conducting and reporting factory production control audits to certification schemes
  • Carry out assessments in accordance with BS EN ISO 19011 (Audit management systems)
  • Conducting and reporting on ISO9001 (quality management systems)
  • To suggest and assist with the implementation of improvement projects as required
  • Assist in conducting internal audits to UKAS accreditations
  • Assist in the training of new auditors when required
  • Witnessing of production of samples for testing
  • Select samples from factory, site, or market so audit testing can occur

The person: -

  • Auditing experience is desirable but if you are a technically minded individual who would be interested in becoming an auditor full training can be provided.
  • Working to UKAS standards would be advantageous
  • Ability to manage clients' issues to reach a successful conclusion
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of systems
  • Able to work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Experience working in a customer facing role interacting with stakeholders and clients and developing strong working relationships
  • Excellent written and oral interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hold a QMS lead audit qualification or equivalent, or willingness and ability to complete the course and exam
  • Competent with MS Office applications
  • Significant professional experience in relevant industries

Please take into consideration that even though these roles are North West based they will involve extensive travel around the UK and potential of some overseas work.
