Business Development Manager - Sheet Metal Market - UK wide
My client is a leading provider of Sheet Metal and Fabrication solutions to a range of industries. They provide customers with a full range of products and services, supporting them with full design capabilities and finishing to a high standard. They are keen to provide high quality jobs at a competitive price, offering engineering excellence through the vast experience their team hold.
Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to work out on the road, visiting customers, growing sales and building long-lasting relationships.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful Business Development Manager will be in charge of targeting key customers, developing a sales pipeline, and actively growing the business. The role is covering UK wide, so you will have full autonomy to organise your week, attending sales visits, knocking on doors, and developing strong relationships. Currently, the majority of the company's business is done from the North West, therefore they are looking for someone to grow sales throughout the rest of the UK and not the North West.
- Experienced external sales and business development experience
- MUST HAVE background in Precision Sheet Metal and Fabrication manufacture
- Track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
- Customer focused, with a strong drive to succeed
- Excellent communication skills and tenacious attitude
