Business Development Manager - Kent
A leading compressed air systems specialist who provide high quality products and services are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their well-established team.
They pride themselves on their unparalleled service. They can provide solutions for all makes and models of compressed air equipment and work with customers across all industries - including dental, automotive, construction, manufacturing and many more. They are also an authorised distributor of a leading brand of compressors.
Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to predominantly sell their maintenance business. Planned maintenance work on equipment is the core of their business, therefore you will be responsible for seeking and winning new business within this area.
Primarily a new business focused role, you will be responsible for seeking and winning maintenance business across the South East England. You will be self-generating leads from door knocking and cold calling, as well as effectively managing existing accounts.
The main focus to target is SME's within a variety of sectors such as automotive, engineering and manufacturing across their area of coverage which includes Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Great London and parts of Hampshire, Berkshire, and Essex. The role is predominantly field based however you will be required to visit the office regularly throughout the week.
The Successful person will have:
* B2B Industrial sales experience
* Previous business development experience
* Enthusiastic and approachable with a good work ethic
* Organised, with good communication skills both written and verbal
* Microsoft Office skills
* Ideally experience of automotive, engineering and manufacturing industries.
* Located in Kent and willing to travel
