CAD Technician (Facades/Cladding Manufacturing)

£25,000 - £30,000 DOE

Fort Dunlop, Birmingham


Our client is a Globally successful construction manufacturing and construction contracting business who have opened a brand new Technical office in Birmingham's attractive Fort Dunlop (B24). We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to work in a fast-paced Design Team involved in the supply of marketing leading products into the technically demanding
cladding market within the UK, Europe and across the rest of the world.

As our successful individual will be working as part of a small motivated team liaising with individuals across multiple departments and sites within the business. They will be required to gain an in-depth knowledge of the products being produced.
The person will generate drawings of a variety of products based upon either standard products and systems or bespoke details to client's requirements. You will be working from order forms and
drawings provided by our clients.

The role requires the use of Solidworks 3D modelling software.


Your Key Responsibilities will be:


* Generation of production drawings of a variety of products based upon standardised products and systems or bespoke details to a customer's requirements
* Working from order forms and drawings provided by our clients
* Using Solidworks 3D modelling software
* Gaining an in-depth knowledge of the products being produced
* Liaise regularly with Production teams and other departments
* Opportunity to assist the development team with innovative methods of working to streamline the order processing
* Ensure details are issued in-line with the project programme
* Ensure information provided is clear, concise and correct first time

of the post holder.


The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:
