Location: North West
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Company Benefits
I have an exciting position for a Construction Director to join a North West leading main contractor. The contractor specialises in large high rise residential schemes varying in value from £20m - £100m. You will be responsible for all projects in the North West and Midlands division.
You will be expected to conduct management meetings, review budgets, performance, expectations and put measures into place to rectify problems. Praise achievements and encourage as necessary. Also, ensure monthly evaluations are submitted by the surveyors within the time frames stipulated and ensure the interests of the company are protected.
Discuss training requirements with the HR department to encourage continuous professional. You will encourage, manage and develop the divisions to allow the staff to perform as well as monitor and review progress reports of team member's development of team members. Provide and implement ideas to encourage good practice across the Division and organisation.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Requiring education/ qualification to a level of NVQ 5/ Post Graduate/ Professional
- Qualification and/or previous management experience
- Good knowledge of computer systems including spreadsheets and Word
- Excellent contract law knowledge
- Good Building Regulations knowledge
In return you will receive a salary of £65,000 - £70,000 plus company car/ allowance and company benefits.
