I am currently recruiting for a Contracts manager to join a highly sought after and well respected regional contractor based in Warrington.
This is a business who has operated in the North West region for over 40 years with a strong client base and stable work load. They pride themselves on building long term relationships with their clients, and it is this repeat business which has led them to have the need for an additional Contracts Manager.
This busy contractor works across a variety of sectors including Healthcare, Education, Leisure and residential jobs which are typically valued between £500k - £5m.
Projects include both refurbishments and Design & build projects so experience in both of these areas is essential to be successful in the contracts manager role. The contractor also work across a number of frameworks in the North West region as well as being successful in the competitive tender market so experience in both areas would be an advantage.
They are looking for an experienced contracts manager with a track record of success on similar size and types of projects including education, healthcare and residential. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded understanding of the entire construction process from preconstruction to final handovers and be commercially aware.
This business is looking for a Contracts Manager that they can invest in to grow with the business so with this in mind they are looking for someone with a stable permanent work history who is fully experienced in running multiple contracts at once.
You will need to have at least 5 years' experience as a contracts Manager or in a similar role working on a similar variety of schemes and experience working for a building contractor on new build and refurbishment projects up to £5million is essential. You will have Extensive knowledge and understanding of both Health and Safety legislation and CDM Regulations too.
