Customer Service Team Manager SAP (FMCG Packaging)

As our new Customer Service Team Manager, you will have responsibility for both the demand management and SOP functions, helping to bring them together to develop a combined Customer Services Team going forward. They will be a "second in command" to the Customer Demand Manager with people and process management responsibilities.
The Demand Management team are responsible for planning and forecasting demand for manufactured and purchased goods based on historical sales, current trends and customer plans. We strive to implement a collaborative forecasting approach to help ensure product availability and minimize inventory exposure working with most of the key major retailers.
The SOP team process all orders that come in from our customers, some via EDI, some via e-mail and phone, dealing with any supply issues and working with the warehouse team to plan loadings.
In addition, you will also need to cover certain aspects of the CDM's role whilst they are unavailable.
Your Key Responsibilities
Forecast Review - Proposing forecast changes, maintaining stock levels, analysing trends,
Identify risks and opportunities embedded within product forecasts, and communicate such information throughout the Supply Chain
Customer promotional forecasts - analyse and challenge figures where appropriate
Maintain promotional history
Procurement of Bought in bottle FG from international suppliers
Assisting with order processing during busy periods.
SAP super User - Ability to problem solve any system issues relating to SD master data and sales orders within SAP
Master data maintenance
Basic knowledge of all customer accounts to provide holiday cover
Manage weekly KPI reports for both functions
Previous experience in the same or similar role is essential. Working knowledge of SAP as an ERP business solution is also essential.
