Demand Planning Coordinator (FMCG Manufacturing)

£25,000 - £30,000 DOE


We are recruiting for our client, a hugely successful FMCG business in Irlam, as they look to continue to strengthen their Customer Service & Supply Chain team. As our new Demand Planning Coordinator you will be responsible for planning and forecasting future manufactured and purchased goods based on historical sales, current trends and customer plans. You will implement a collaborative forecasting approach to help ensure product availability and minimise inventory exposure.

Key responsibilities as our Demand Planning Coordinator will include:

* Updating and maintaining SAP demand plan with promotional forecasts, sales, and relevant commentary for several key customers
* Forecasting customer promotions by analysing and challenging figures where appropriate
* Proposing forecast ammendments based on trend analysis tools
* Identifying risks and opportunities within product forecasts and communicating this information throughout the supply chain
* Leading and preparing for any customer/ supplier review meetings
* Ensuring all stock is located at the correct warehouse to cover sales out
* Trouble shooting issues with all internal departments to ensure service level to the customer is achieved
* Developing basic knowledge of all customer accounts to provide holiday cover
* Managing espablihed KPI's
* Providing cover for the Customer Services Manager as required

Skills required as our Demand Planning Coordinator

* Good general level of education, A Level or equivalent and/ or above
* A minimum of two years general administrative experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* IT literate with a high level/ expert level of competency in excel. This is an essential skill to be able to fully carry out the responsibilities of the role
* Previous SAP experience would be preferred
