Assistant Design Manager / Design Co-ordinator
Location: West Lancashire (70% site, 30% office)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Package (DOE)
I have an exciting position available for an Assistant Design Manager to join a North West leading regional contractor that currently have a £60 million turnover and have a number of projects underway at present in the Liverpool, Salford, Warrington and Manchester areas. The contractor currently have large high rise schemes underway £13 million + and mixed used residential developments £20 million +.
Due to a large increase in they are looking for an Assistant Design Manager to join the team to assist with the design information and design philosophy for new build projects. You will be expected to review the technical aspects of details put forward by architects and engineers and co-ordinate changes with the Design team (including Structural Engineers, architects and external subcontractors) ensuring best value. You will be involved in Design team meetings to co-ordinate the building process.
As an Assistant Design Manager you will be 70% based on site and 30% based in the office in West Lancashire.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
- Requiring education/ qualifications to a level of NVQ 4, Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations
- Strong communication, negotiation and time management In return you will receive a salary up to £50,000 + Package and company benefits.
