£26690 + overtime and overnight allowance
Permanent - Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45pm Friday 8am - 3.45pm
You will be required to complete the installation of electrical control systems on machinery. Control panel build and wiring of various components back to panel. Installation of video image systems, software installation and set up. Depending on the business needs some mechanical machine assembly will be required to fulfil the role and training will be provided if required.
Carry out installation and service work in accordance with the company guide lines and procedures with consideration to the budgeted costs in any country worldwide to which machines are supplied. Overseas travel of approximately 10 to 12 weeks per year will be required.
Whilst based within the factory provide telephone/internet support from the service desk when service team are not available.
To complete pre delivery inspection of new machines and factory testing. To carryout rectifications after testing of a machine if required.
To assist in the design, development and maintenance of the electrical systems utilised in equipment, with a focus on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
The fitter will assist other members of the production team when required to help meet delivery demands. A multi-role ethos is essential.
All personnel using lifting equipment should do so in line with relevant regulations, with strict awareness of other personnel within the immediate area.

Qualifications / experience required
- Time served engineer with HNC or similar electrical qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in machine build environment
- Programming experience of C++ would also be advantageous
- Company pension 3% contribution
