Electrical supervisor

Liverpool based with some UK & International Travel

£14p/h

Permanent Full Time (40 hours per week)

08.00 - 16.30hrs Mon- Fri with overtime including weekends available

An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client who specializes in the design and Manufacture of commercial, inflatable and high speed workboats. As a market leader in their field they supply industries such as Military, Law enforcement and rescue organizations around the world.

My Client is looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the team at their waterfront facility based in Liverpool the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the electrical team within Fleet Services. The electrical supervisor will report directly to the Workshop Manager and is responsible for ensuring work completed meets the company's quality and customer requirements/standards.

Experience Required

  • Experience in low voltage DC electrical/electronic systems
  • Ability to diagnose faults
  • Experience of engine electrics and associated ancillary equipment
  • Ability to read/follow technical drawings and schematics
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership, management and communication skills, work to high professional standards and be numerate and logical thinking
  • Hold suitable electrical qualifications
  • Ability to work to ISO 9001 Quality Management / ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 18001 Health and Safety Management system requirements
  • Numerate, articulate and logical thinking
  • Have significant self-motivation and initiative with the ability to manage own workload and work with minimum supervision
  • Able to work supportively as part of a team and with a friendly and approachable personality

Responsibilities

  • Supervision and mentoring of all Team Leaders and Service Technicians
  • Liaising with the Fleet Workshop Manager / other Supervisors and Customer Service Team with regards to resource management to achieve the Required Delivery Dates and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Monitor progress of all planned and emergent works, attend production meetings and provide accurate up to date information
  • Ensure the timely management / prioritisation of all planned and emergent works
  • Ensure that all Policies and Procedures are adhered to
  • Performance monitoring of electrical service technicians and dealing with disciplinary matters
  • Co-Ordinate documentation between shop floor and administration team
  • Inspect / check the quality of all electrical works and sign off the completion of works orders
  • Key holder duties
  • Any other reasonable requests from management
