Electrical Supervisor

* Are you a born leader with experience supervising the maintenance and inspection of Electrical Systems?

RTG are looking to recruit an Electrical Supervisor to work on two Comah sites close to Glasgow. The successful candidate will provide professional Electrical Engineering support for the Maintenance and Inspection of Electrical Systems across a Fuel Terminal; identifying and implementing electrical improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Maintain, Manage and own the High Voltage & Low Voltage Interconnection systems including the Primary Earthing Systems. This will include the inspection and maintenance up to 11KV distribution networks.
* To hold the level of Authorised Person Electrical to manage the operation and maintenance of the High Voltage & Low Voltage systems across the two sites.
* Function as the technical lead (Electrical) when required for the delivery of Minor New Works projects carried out.
* Oversee maintenance, inspection and system upgrade programmes.
* Ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) at all times in conjunction with the Site Management team
* Excellent knowledge around preventative and predictive maintenance incorporating current industry best practices.
* Providing electrical technical assistance to the relevant Project Engineer / Subject Matter experts for the production of engineering scopes.
* Providing electrical technical assistance and support for all Electrical Maintenance activities
* Support the centralised maintenance ICE team
* Support the Capital Project Works incorporating the acceptance criteria and assessment
* Monitor progress, resource and expenditure of projects carried out by contractors to ensure the achievement of the company strategic plan.
* Provide support to the electrical maintenance aspects of the business providing operability and reliability judgements on installed systems and equipment.
* Write, Implement and Review Electrical Maintenance related procedures and safety instructions to ensure compliance to Statutory, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Relevant Good Practice to ensure the sites meet the COMAH legislation
