Engineering Team Leader (Manufacturing)

We have a fantastic opportunity with a leading FMCG manufacturing company who are continuing to develop and transform their Engineering team.

They are looking for a hands on Engineering Team Leader with proven engineering leadership and scheduling management experience to mentor and develop a team of engineers and support new improvement ideas across the company. The successful candidate will have a great opportunity to develop their skillset and form part of a developing engineering team reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Engineer on shift, manage maintenance schedule, develop and implement the site asset care strategy and support improvement in overall engineering performance.
  • Lead site maintenance plans support Preventative maintenance program CMS system.
  • (Shire system) manipulate data and set up a reliability, asset care program.
  • Lead and support site operational effectiveness, working seamlessly with the Production and Technical teams to reduce downtime, improving OEE & completing projects within target budgets and time frames.

The Successful candidate will be a time served engineer in either mechanical or electrical engineering within manufacturing Food / FMCG / Automotive manufacturing experience (other industries also considered) with a preferably a minimum of HNC level engineering qualification or above. Experience within a Lead or Senior Engineer role or previous Engineering supervisory experience
