A new opportunity has arisen with a company who are continuing on a period of expansion.
As a result they require a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to take responsibility for the daily maintenance and improvement of their Uk buildings.
Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will also be managing and responsible for the Environmental Health and Safety Officer and lead everything with regards to the maintenance of the site assets and facilities.
Responsible for two sites including their new state of the art manufacturing premises the role will require someone who is a natural leader and co-ordinator who can manage subcontractors and Identify non conformances.
The preferred candidate will preferably have a recognised Facilities management or Engineering qualification with a relevant Nebosh or equivalent qualification. With 5 years in a Maintenance or Facilities function with team management experience in this area.
We are looking for someone logical and hardworking and who could create a difference by seeing 'problems' as opportunities. This right person will have a strong mechanical and electrical background and who is keen of getting things done and come up with constructive ideas.
