Account Manager

Liverpool

Permanent full time

£35000- £38000 dependant on experience

ROLE

To provide our customers with a designated point of contact who manages the day to day running of the Contract and can provide technical assistance. This role is also responsible for managing the demand Forecasts and developing a consolidated Demand Plan on Order wise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage designated customer accounts (at desk level), as single point of contact, providing the main interface with customers as designated by the Operations Manager ensuring end to end liaison for designated customers
  • Monitor performance and hold internal and external reviews based on delivery of all contractual requirements, and other agreed performance criteria.
  • Agree loading, and delivery plans with the customer and maintain end to end liaison with designated customers.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all internal/external customers, and work with customers to fully understand their needs
  • Ensure that Orderwise Sales Orders are populated and maintained in accordance with policies, ensuring that the Limit of Liability are always monitored.
  • Ensure that all emergent work orders and spares are added to works orders in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Provide technical support to Purchasing team.
  • Management of designated Assistant Account Managers and Administration staff.
  • Produce timely and accurate Management Information as requested

COMPETENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Have a technical background and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholder.
  • Have significant self-motivation and initiative with the ability to manage own workload and work with minimum supervision
  • Able to work supportively as part of a team and with a friendly and approachable personality
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership, management and communication skills, work to high professional standards and be numerate and logical thinking
  • Have a working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality System requirements
  • Numerate, articulate and logical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literate
  • Able to work supportively as part of a team and with a friendly and approachable personality
