Due to incredible business growth we are EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for an Internal Account Coordinator to join their successful Commercial team. For the ideal candidate, we are looking to get you started ASAP.

Our client is a World Class manufacture and supplier of surfactants and associated chemicals for the personal care, cosmetics, HI&I and many industrial applications. They offer an impressive wide range of chemical manufacturing capabilities on behalf of its global customer base.

They are part of a dynamic group of businesses engaged in the development, manufacture and distribution of chemical intermediates for Personal Care, Household Care and Industrial applications.

Your New Role

This is an exciting time to join the our client as they go through an intensive period of transformation and there is the potential to make a real impact within this well respected company.

Reporting into the Commercial Director, we are looking for a confident, self-motivated and proactive candidate with a passion for sales and an enthusiasm for exceptional customer service.
As our Account Manager, you will take responsibility for managing and carrying out all related matters for our key customers, including processing orders, Production oversight, Transport & Logistics, and Invoicing.

Your new role will involve overseeing a team of 3 Internal Account Co-Ordinators, ensuring targets are met by the team, and reporting departmental KPI objective progress to the Commercial Director.

Your Duties/ Areas of Responsibility


* Be directly responsible for day-to-day management of Internal Accounts Team made up of 3 Internal Account Co-ordinators.
* Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and drive exceptional customer service levels throughout the business.
* Ensure targets are met by team, track departmental KPI objectives, and generate reports for Commercial Director.
* Provide support and feedback to direct reports through regular 121 meetings and drive personal development plans aligned with the company's appraisal structure.
* Internal focus for identified customers to ensure orders and expectations are met.
* Processing customer forecast and purchase orders in specialised CRM system.
* Order acknowledgment (Confirmation of completion & collection date/ Amending orders, tracking date movements & communicating to customers).
* Create and send COA, collection notes and invoices to customers.
* Regular dialogue with customers by email, phone and face to face meetings to develop strong relationships.
* Work with customer to generate quarterly customer forecast and then Check, Plan and allocate stock.
* Understand customers market and align the business to deliver their expectations.
* Proactively ring customers to encourage placement of new sales orders.
* Other tasks as required by your manager.


Your Background

* A strong customer service background.
* Previous management experience, ideally a team of customer service representatives.
* Work under pressure to strict and sometimes challenging deadlines, with the ability to prioritise own work.
* Work on own initiative but realise the need for the whole team to get the job done.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent administration, planning, organisational and time keeping skills.
* Positive "Can Do" attitude to challenge and deliver customer expectations.
* Ability to remain flexible and deliver any ad-hoc duties/specific projects as assigned.


Contractual Benefits

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
25 days holiday + bank holidays
3% pension, Laptop
Salary range £30,000
