On one side of their HQ, you'll find their Operations Department, including Finance & Planning all the way through to Fulfilment, Warehousing and our very own Production facilities, pumping out the finest health foods on the market. Step a couple of yards across the estate, and you'll open the doors to where they plot, plan and perform! In their Central Sales & Marketing Team they handle the full Performance Marketing mix, Brand Management, Design, Customer Experience, Content Creation, SEO and CRO and Trading.
They have an in-house Technology & Global Growth team working alongside them… everything is all in the one place.
Due to continued growth, success and the inevitable implementation of a new ERP system, they are now looking to add to the team an experienced Inventory Manager!!

You will be responsible for all aspects of inventory management across both our raw material and finished goods warehouses. Developing best practise to ensure stock accuracy, managing the perpetual inventory program whilst developing best-in-class processes. Reporting into the Global Distribution Director this is a key role in the business, ensuring stock is aligned across all systems.
Your New Role
This role is based at our clients Fulfilment Centre in Runcorn and has responsibility for all inventory across the Fulfilment Centre, Raw Material & 3PL warehouses.
The followning will be your main responsibilities: -
Design and execute a perpetual inventory program.
Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained across the business, minimising stock loss and damage to agreed company metrics.
Ensure company stock loss targets are met and surpassed, including back orders.
Drive and execute a continuous improvement program.
Co-ordinate the introduction of new product launches and the removal of discontinued lines.
Regular analysis and communication to the wider business of stock performance.
Design and instigate changes to bin profiles to suit SKU types and associated categorisation and sales velocity and the continuous configuration of warehouse by categorisation and sales velocity.
Fully optimise the layout and storage of all goods on site.
Production of daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
Manage the day to day co-ordination of the Inventory Team.
Develop effective working relationships with the key departments in the business.
Understand and resolve all day to day stock queries.
Lead the inventory function in all day-to-day inventory responsibilities and activities, ensuring key tasks are completed accurately & efficiently.
Determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory systems, identify route cause and implement measures to ensure accuracy.
Optimise the warehouse space to affect the best utilisation of warehouse capacity.
Undertake capacity planning and feasibility studies as required.
Immediate Responsibilities and Hot Projects
Plot, Plan and Deliver on the following: Ownership for the storage and movement of all company inventory.
Perpetual inventory program
Develop and implement effective stock management procedures to ensure accurate, complete, and timely stock keeping record keeping.
Stock profiling, slow stock, cycle counting, free issue stock.
Implement KPI's to monitor and improve inventory management and stock control processes.
Develop an efficient reporting process.
Presentation of key metrics on stock performance at weekly team meetings.
Previous Experience You Will Need
Previous management experience in an inventory role
Good attention for detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
Previous experience of Warehouse Management Systems, warehouse stock processes and stock compliance regulations.
Calm under pressure and used to working in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organised and excellent verbal, written and numerical skills.
Advanced IT skills - specifically Excel with ability to report and use analytical tools.
Previous ecommerce experience.
Strong planning and analytical skills
