Role: - Junior Project Engineer (Electronic/Technology)

Location: - Kingston upon Hull

Type: - Permanent (Monday - Friday 8:30 - 4:30)

Salary: - Competitive starting salary

Russell-Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Project Engineer to join a global testing company. The ideal candidate will have strong personal skills with the ability to pick up the phone and hold a degree or equivalent in a technical based subject. This role is suitable for recent graduates as full training will be provided; sales experience is desirable. If this role is something you'd be interested in, please apply within.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product certification project management
  • Liaise with customers, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed to a set timescale
  • Able to learn and understand product certification processes and procedures for a wide range of countries and technical disciplines
  • Coordinate, prepare and review product certification submissions for a variety of projects against the product certification manual
  • Provide technical support to sales team
  • Support the certification team where necessary
  • Able to independently perform tasks
  • Work and communicate directly with customers both UK wide and overseas

Person

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in electronic engineering/technology or other relevant discipline
  • A well organised individual with excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • A team player with the drive and commitment to complete required jobs
  • Project management or certification experience is advantageous
  • Experience with radio technology is desirable
