Key Account Manager

We have a superb new career opportunity to start the new year with our client who is continuing to build and develop their business. As part of their growth plan they are recruiting for a Key Account Manager to join their successful sales team.

Based at their new modern refurbished offices at their Brand New award winning manufacturing Headquarters in Wrexham. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the industry's largest manufacturer of equestrian head and clothing wear.

This role will suit someone who has a passion to drive, develop and maximise client relationships and have an interest in the sector

Role:

  • Achieve sales goals and targets. Develop relationships and introduce new exciting and innovative products
  • Building strong relationships with customers and potential new accounts, providing a first point of contact for questions and new opportunities
  • Visiting retail outlets to evaluate needs and discuss the development of company products
  • Strategically plan to identify new retail opportunities.
  • Plan and develop merchandising strategies and implement into stores
  • Supporting training at retailer brand events
  • Sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Providing product training for new accounts and provide store support at bigger consumer shows (weekend working will be required periodically)
  • Day to day administration, coordinating promotions,
  • Requirements for role:
  • The successful candidate will be a fast learner, energetic and confident and be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced, exciting environment
  • Computer literate with an understanding of excel and pivot tables is desirable
  • You must have at least 2 years work experience in an office, or sales environment
  • A full driver's licence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues, customers and suppliers
  • Flexibility to be able to travel for business
  • An interest or passion for horses or the equestrian sector is an advantage
  • Experience in sales and merchandising is desired but not essential
