Job Description


To raise purchase orders on suppliers and to arrange transportation services with third party providers in support of the company's commercial activities, in consideration of targets on safety, performance and cost.


To process purchase orders for direct supply of product in response to sales orders processed by the Customer Service Team, in consideration of company service level targets for order processing.

To place 'back-to-back' purchase orders on suppliers in response to notification from the Customer Service team.

To communicate with suppliers to track/chase orders.

To use control reports to monitor activities.

To update key stakeholders of any changes to orders as advise by the supplier, in a timely manner.

To control the receipt and despatch of back-to-back orders, including entering of batch analysis data as require.

To organise and maintain data files relating to the above mentioned orders.

To effect timely arrangement of freight in consideration of customer performance and cost

To place purchase orders for transport and third party service providers, maintaining data files to track transport orders .

To communicate with service providers operations personnel to track/chase orders.

To ensure that all stakeholders are aware of changes to schedules, extra costs, or issues relating to transport arrangements in a timely manner.

To control and maintain an accurate record of all product movement from third party/external storage locations.

To use control reports to monitor activities.

To raise customs documentation in Chamber of Commerce e-system, as instructed by Customer Service colleagues.

To provide back-up and support to Supply Chain team colleagues as required.


Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week

Flexible between the hours of 8am and 5.30pm
