Manufacturing Shift Coordinator (FMCG, Packaging)

We are working with a fantastic client who are undergoing an extensive period of growth and site development and are looking to expand their manufacturing team.

The Manufacturing Shift Coordinator will report directly to the Manufacturing Shift Manager and will play an important part of supporting the smooth running of the department and implementing key KPI's performance targets.

Manufacturing Shift Coordinator responsibilities include:

Overseeing and carrying out effective changeovers. Alongside monitoring and recording performance of changeovers.

Carrying out training and skill assessments during changeovers

Developing change over procedures, tooling and department skills to maximize the effectiveness of change overs.

Assisting the Manufacturing Shift Manager in the management and control of costs in line with budgeted requirements and to deputise in his absence

Maximising production output through effective

Rectifying of machine faults, preventative maintenance work and continuous improvement activities

Continually review hygiene and ensure all CIP procedures are adhered too.

Undertaking disciplinary action according to the disciplinary procedure to verbal warning stage.

Knowledge of the packaging and liquid fill sectors.

The ideal candidate will ideally be apprentice trained preferably within an engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years engineering experience. With a Leadership management qualification.
