Mechanical Engineer (FMCG Manufacturing)

Alternating 6-2pm - 2-10pm shift pattern £Competitive Salary Package + Benefits

We are working with a fantastic and recognised FMCG manufacturing client who have a superb new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to support the current engineering team.

The preferred candidate will have previous engineering experience within a manufacturing environment with good GMP knowledge.

Role involves fault finding and mechanical maintenance of pumps, valves, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.

Key Responsibilities.

* Monitor the performance of new and current machinery, carrying out adjustments and maintenance on a continuing basis and suggest improvements. * Preventative Maintenance of machinery to the highest order to ensure smooth operation running and minimise downtime. * Diagnose defects and undertake effect repair and evaluate results. * Undertake welding repair and maintenance.

  • Identify health and safety risks and ensure that the plant and equipment is maintained in a safe working order and that safe working practices are followed at all times.

The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer within a fast paced manufacturing environment who has experience on installation and commissioning experience.
