Vacancy Description
Day to day management of shop floor personnel (including annual appraisal process, holiday approval process, absenteeism management & disciplinary processes)
Ensuring that the shop floor is kept clean and tidy and is organised in the most efficient manner possible
To co-ordinate the daily shop floor walkaround and to actively participate in the weekly production meeting
Responsibility for ensuring compliance to relevant Health & Safety procedures and ensuring the enforcement thereof
Responsibility for equipment maintenance program and identifying replacement requirement for old / damaged equipment
Over-seeing the goods inward and despatch process
To organise and manage overtime requirements based on the labour hours requirements to achieve production targets as identified by the Senior Management Team
To control & maintain the calibration register and equipment
Over-seeing the Test area to ensure priorities are communicated and workload is managed to achieve required delivery dates
To allocate available shop floor labour to the most appropriate job based on skill sets and priorities
To Co-ordinate with the Site Services Team to ensure effective delivery of projects
Co-ordinate with transport partners to book suitable delivery vehicles in a timely manner to ensure delivery deadlines are met
