Job Description

To assist the Control & Monitoring Systems, Design Manager in the following areas:

  • Shadow attendance for technical meetings, both physical & via Teams and specification assistance/validation for sales quotations.
  • Coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Manage project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage relationships with the clients
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Meet with clients to clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Develop project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Attend training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and document needed

Project Manager Requirements

  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Some technical electrical knowledge would be beneficial (City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or above)
  • Some technical knowledge of networks connectivity would be beneficial
  • Some knowledge of industrial/communications protocols i.e. Modbus, MBus, SNMP - beneficial
  • A good knowledge of PC/Server to autonomously diagnose issues when they arise
  • Strong working knowledge of the following software & languages
    • Microsoft Windows Server Environment
    • Microsoft Office

    • Autodesk AutoCAD
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe Dimension

    • ASP
