Job Title: QA Specialist - Medical Device/Pharmaceutical

Type: Permanent

Summary:

Russell Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity working for an ever growing - Global Medical Device company. The successful candidate will gain furthered QA experience working as a vital part of the Quality Team at our clients' modern complex based in Manchester.

The Role:

  • Providing generic support in the development, maintenance and improvement of the QMS
  • Develops and revises SOPs
  • Participate in the Management Review meetings, using data gained for presentation
  • Manages and coordinates activities associated with aspects of the QMS including:
  • Status of Non-Conformances and CAPAs
  • Facilitation of Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Facilitation of the CAPA Review Board
  • Participate in the Supplier Quality Management
  • Performs Internal/Supplier audits as required
  • Reviewing on audit actions
  • Serves as QA line to other departments, associates and regulatory bodies
  • Continuous improvement and development of the QMS
  • Develops, analyses, trends / metrics
  • Acts as a QA mentor to personnel, and provides training to other staff members'The Person:
  • Will hold a Degree in a relevant Scientific discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 or more years' experience in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs in the Medical or Diagnostics Device industry or a Pharmaceutical GMP background may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of the ISO quality standards, preferably working with EN-ISO-13485-2003
  • Ability to effectively train other individuals to Quality System procedures and programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to meet or exceed critical deadlines
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to work on projects independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
