QC Analytical Scientist - HPLC, Pharmaceutical

Location: Derbyshire

Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday (days)

Salary: £21,000 - £26,000 DOE

Russell-Taylor is delighted to be working alongside one of the UK's leading Pharmaceutical manufacturers. A vacancy has arisen for an Analytical Chemist within the QC Laboratory. The key purpose of this role is to perform analytical method development and analytical method validations for new Pharmaceutical product development.

  • The Applicant will be responsible for running projects relating to assay testing, dissolution testing and product degradation testing of new pharmaceutical formulations. You will be responsible for QC release testing and stability testing in collaboration with the QC department, and initially heavily involved in method development and validation activities.

  • The successful candidate must have previous experience of working within a laboratory environment through industrial experience.

  • Experience in HPLC is essential; method validation experience is essential too. You should ideally be educated to degree or A level (or equivalent) in a science discipline. You should also be a results orientated individual and a strong team player who can work too hard deadlines.
