What will you be doing?

  • We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Marketing Retail team to lead the Commercial efforts of the business. You will implement and deliver the Retail business plan combining market knowledge and ambitious growth targets for the Retail team in line with the overall business strategy and balanced scorecard.
  • You will lead a motivated Commercial team and build relationships with independent retailers and other key external stakeholders to capture long-term opportunities within the UK market.
  • The role will lead the creation of market data intelligence including competitor information and analysis, alternative routes to market, innovative approaches to retail and retail profitability, and any other information that will support decision making for the Retail strategy.
  • The right candidate will also oversee the analysis of trading performance at 3rd party location to support decision making and monitor performance of existing sites and promote actions to maximise profitability while minimising risk. Create and maintain retail branding and communication guidelines to ensure that all new retail sites have a coherent and consistent brand image.

An ideal candidate will:

  • Be familiar with Fuel Retailing operating standards, understand branding, site development and performance monitoring.
  • Be a team player and will be the driving force implementing alternative Retail concepts.
  • Have previous experience in oil and gas retail leadership, this would be very beneficial.
  • You should also understand corporate finance and the implications of retail performance on financial outcomes.
  • You should have excellent influencing and negotiation skills and be able to demonstrate decision making and analytical skills.


Our ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's (or equivalent) preferably with MBA Degree, with in-depth understanding
