Senior Land and Planning Manager - Residential

Greater Manchester

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Company benefits and bonus schemes

My client are a well-established housing contractor who are looking to increase their management team with a Senior Land and Planning Manager. The Senior Land and Planning Manager they are looking for will have proven experience in identifying development sites across the division in order for land targets to be met and has worked closely with the Planning Team in order to ensure that maximum contribution is achieved from all land purchases

You will report into the Land Director and be tasked with sourcing and acquiring land and doing deals and working as part of a team. The Land Director is looking for someone who is an experienced land professional who has a background and demonstrable history of buying sites with a good contact base and deal sheet.

The business is a very dynamic and entrepreneurial one and as such you will be given a high level of autonomy to grow and develop the business with room for personal progression and growth. Critically and firstly you will be a born deal maker and have a track record of doing 3-4 land deals a year.

The successful candidate will already be an established Senior Land Manager or a Land Manager looking for a step. Ideally working for a house builder and have a good contact base in the North West of England. You shall possess communication, negotiation and research and data analysis skills as well as being proficient in IT and report writing.
