Service Sales Specialist, External Sales, Business Development, External Account Manager - In or around the Midlands area ( Birmingham, Coventry, stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Warwick, Gloucestershire, Oxford, Leicester, Derby, Wolverhampton, Milton Keynes, Luton)

The sole purpose for this position is to grow the UK sales services business pipeline within the central division. This must be achieved in line with all company processes and key performance indicators.

My client specialise in Steam System Engineering, they are a prominent name within the industry, always offering the most extensive range of Products and Solutions. They operate in over 25 countries worldwide and they are a true expert in what they do!

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to -

  • Working alongside the Area Sales Engineers, Internal Sales team and Divisional Sales Managers to deliver on all KPI's set
  • Maintaining CRM systems and up keeping the service log
  • Selling Steam System audits via clear process
  • Management of existing accounts
  • Actively develop new business to make the most out of all opportunities
  • Driving service sales in your division
  • Taking possession for delivery of large value service sales contracts

Candidate requirements

  • Must have a good understanding of Steam Systems and service requirements
  • HNC or higher in an engineering discipline, a Degree in an Engineering discipline is desired although not essential
  • The ability to communicate at all levels with good people skills
  • Experience at dealing with people at all levels including Decision Makers and Directors
  • Able to work as an individual and also as part of a team
  • Must be willing to travel throughout your division an stay overnight as and when required
  • Ability to demonstrate presentations to clients on services you can offer
  • Previous worked with a CRM system or able to operate one
  • Business development, account management and external sales experience is essential
  • Previous fluid power, gas handling, pneumatic, hydraulic or steam system experience Is desired
  • Product sales or Service sales experience in the above sectors would be suitable
