My client is a leading global main contractor that deliver multimillion-pound schemes. They have an exciting skyline changing scheme in Liverpool that requires a SHEQ Manager.
The SHEQ Manager will be based on site for the construction of the scheme. The SHEQ Manager they are looking for will have previous experience working in a health, safety, environmental and Quality position. You will be responsible for all SHEQ within the Liverpool project, ensuring all works carried out are in line to the highest level of health and safety.
Ensuring all site staff are fully compliant and adhering to all legal legislations on site via tool box talks and site safety inductions. The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for regular onsite inspections and ensuring all health and safety records are kept up to date accordingly. The successful SHEQ Manager will have a proven construction background, ideally working for a main building contractor although others may still be considered.
- Previous health and safety advisory/management role in the construction industry.
- Experience of independently undertaking SHEQ inspections and writing reports.
- Experience of undertaking accident investigations.
Qualification / Health & Safety Requirements
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum, NEBOSH Diploma.
