Greater Manchester

£40k-£50k+package ( DOE)

My client is a medium sized building contractor that have a number of exciting projects on at the moment. Due to an increase in Project wins they require a site manager for a scheme greater Manchester.

They have a good variety of projects some are site acquisition development apartments converting an existing building. Which is a 5-story building into apartments. The project is 126 apartments with balconies facing open air central courtyards. They also deliver a mixture of leisure and hotel projects.

As an experienced Site Manager, you will be aware of planning procedures and following tight site time schedules. You will be responsible for organising labour and ensuring all sub-contractors are following plans as to the programme and meeting deadlines as required.

The successful Site Manager will ideally have experience of delivering complex refurbishments and new build schemes, ideally within apartments. Although not essential. You will be looking to develop and grow as a site manager which this contractor can offer you.

Health and Safety is paramount on site, and it will be the Site Manager who will be taking toolbox talks and site inductions. You will ensure all site labour is adhering to strict Health and Safety guidelines on site. The successful site manager will have a main contracting background within construction.
