Salary: Competitive with Company Car / Car Allowance
I have an exciting position for a Site Manager to join a North West leading main contractor. The contractor specialises in large high rise residential schemes varying in value from £20m - £120m.
Due to a number of new large developments they have an opening for a Site Manager in the Stratford area to work on a new build £120 million student accommodation. The build is currently in the final phase. The role consists of managing the works on site to ensure the project is completed to a high standard on time, safely and profitably to satisfy the clients. You will need to maintain efficiency and high standards at all times as well as complete on time or ahead of time. You will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, labour, plant and materials - issuing requisitions for plant, labour and materials as required to meet the programme.
You will be required to review and manage Health & Safety ensuring company Health & Safety procedures are adhered to, to ensure a safe working environment at all times as well as discuss site issues and progress with contract manager. Maintain morale on site by communicating regularly with all site colleagues, discussing and reviewing issues and sharing good practice.
You will be an experienced Site Manager who has specific experience of groundworks and highways. You'll be able to manage your time effectively, have exceptional negotiation and communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead a site-based team. Previous experience of large, high rise projects is essential and Student Accommodation experience would be advantageous.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
- NVQ Level 3, 'A' Level, HNC, or equivalent qualifications / experience
- SMSTS certificate
- First Aid certificate
- Scaffolding certificate
- CSCS Card
In return you will receive a salary of £45,000 plus car/ allowance and company benefits.
