We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a supply chain and logistics coordinator, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expending Chemical packaging company based in the Warrington area.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • On a day to day basis you will be organising and coordinating all collections, arranging booking-in times and managing changes to schedule.
  • You will be the contacting customers to arrange the booking-in times for deliveries
  • Liaising with Customer Services, Sales team and Operations to ensure your customers collect their products on time in full, seeking support from other teams where required
  • You will also be a responsible for managing the despatch of all parcels
  • Requesting POD's and interrogate Hauliers portal to provide support for Customer Service teams
  • You will need to be well organised and plan effectively to ensure that all your customer deliveries are completed on time and in line with the service level expectations.
  • Communicate with and be the main point of contact for the in-house hauliers
  • Liaising with Warehouse Manager, Stock Controller and FLT drivers on a daily basis
  • You will be liaising with customer regarding all order queries that arising from transport related issues
  • Have continuous communication with the sales and customer Service team on all delivery related issues.
  • Responsible for compiling and publishing delivery related KPI's

Personal Attributes and Experience you will possess to be successful in your new role:

  • You need to be an Excellent planner with very good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise own work load.
  • Have good Negotiation and communication skills.
  • Have a good eye for details and pay attention to detail. .
  • You will need to be professional and approachable with clients, colleagues, suppliers and customers
  • Be firm and confident with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Hold good IT skills.
  • Have previous experience in a manufacturing industry and/or transport planning
  • You need to be an Excellent planner with very good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise own work load.
