£32,000 - £35,000 Plus FANTASTIC Contractual Benefits

We are recruiting for our client, a hugely successful FMCG packaging business, as they look to expand their Customer Service and Supply Chain Team. This is a permanent, full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday, 8:30-4:45pm.

As our new Supply Chain Coordinator You will report to the Onboarding & Materials Manager, having full responsibility for managing the Supply Chain function for a number of Contract Pack accounts, along with being a point of escalation for two direct reports in the team.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Liaising with contract pack customers to ensure production schedules are kept up to date
Maintaining Bulk POs and WOs in line with the customers production schedules
Resolving issues around scheduling/material issues with the customer/material suppliers
Setting up new products & Bill of Materials maintenance
Liaising with Marketing / Commercial department to ensure artwork for NPD launches are chased and approved inline with production requirements.
Collating and updating various daily / weekly reports both internally and externally.
Being the first point of contact for contract customers with material queries around delivery / orderings / pricing etc.
Tracking and report any issues related to customers 3rd party suppliers & feedback to wider business
Ensuring the respective commercial account managers and support functions are kept up to date with all aspects which may impact on the customer
Project managing as needed for introduction of new products, processes, or contract pack customers
Attending customer meeting to represent Logistics/Kingsland.
Providing cover for other roles within the department as required

Skills You Will Need:

Good level of general education up to A Level or equivalent as a minimum
Excellent administration skills
Excellent communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Have experience managing or supervising people and have the ability to cultivate strong working relationships
A high level of competency in Excel is a must
Having previous Supply Chain experience is desirable
Previous SAP experience would also be an advantage
