The job

You will be part of the senior management team to define the technical department strategy, budget, product developments, KPIs and process map.

Coordinate and oversee the technical team, and be responsible for any issues occurred. Drive the innovation in the department through the introduction of new materials and improved processes.

Responsibilities

To Improvement and development of products and process and manage technical team. Be responsible for any issues occurred in the technical department and report this senior management.

To guarantee the success of every new project and engineering change within the organisation.

Main tasks:

  • Facilitate and take an active role in implementing new corporate business systems
  • Monthly Meetings with project managers / engineers
  • Be the link between production and quality
  • Drive the innovation in materials and process
  • Verify the feasibility of new product and assign the project to a suited project manager / engineer
  • New part introduction system
  • Program management of customer and product development projects
  • Supporting sales department for costs
  • Bill of materials management
  • Product lifecycle management
  • overseen and support project engineer
  • Process flow charts and register
  • Direct link with OEMs and customer base on technical items
  • Direct link with supplier base on technical items
  • Record of customer specific requirements
  • Drawing and standards control and register
  • CAD facilities, maintenance and upgrades
  • Create bill of materials and routings
  • Process flow charts and register
  • Engineering change note system of part number or process
  • New part introduction system of any new part number or process
  • Part numbering system and register
  • Program management of customer and product development projects
  • Part submission warrant control and register
  • Project lessons learnt register

QUALIFICATION:

  • High engineer qualification
  • Project manager qualification

EXPERIENCES:

  • Engineer/production-process manager
  • Automotive industry
  • Experience with materials used in the company

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Technical department capital expenditure (CAPEX) requirements
  • Technical department personnel requirements, including skills matrix & training plan
  • TS16949 compliance and internal audits
  • Material qualification
  • Good understanding of company and different departments
