WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR

Deeside > Bromborough

Salary £ 21,000 per annum

Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Administrator to join our client's team.

Our client is transport solutions provider based in Deeside moving soon to their new facilities in Bromborough (CH62).

The main purpose of the Warehouse Adminstrator is to fulfil all administrative activities required by one of the company client's contract and answer overflow calls relating to Palletways deliveries in a timely and professional manner.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Goods receipt serials from containers on SAP once confirmed as received by the warehouse team.
  • Goods receipt parts from suppliers when advised by the warehouse that they have arrived.
  • Manage the Backlog Screen to ensure all orders are printed, distributed and marked as complete in a timely manner.
  • Compile and distribute the daily Load List and Daily Dispatches files ensuring 100% accuracy of the information included.
  • Report Weekly and Monthly as required on the client's contract KPIs.
  • Compile and distribute the weekly Shipment File, ensuring 100% accuracy of the information included.
  • Complete CI's on SAP for all EU customers and distribute these as required in a timely fashion.
  • Place shipment requests on DPD, DHL and Chrono post's systems to ensure the timely distribution of parts to customers. Print waybills and provide to the warehouse to apply to the parcels.
  • Place orders onto the Palletways Portal for shipments being dispatched by that route. Print labels and ensure they're provided to the warehouse to apply to the products.
  • Maintain Load Lists for all Direct Load shipments to ensure orders are dispatched on time and none are missed.
  • Track, via a spreadsheet, all items known to be in transit back to the warehouse and actively manage their progress if they run late. Ensue the returns process is followed by the warehouse operatives when goods arrive.
  • Track, via a spreadsheet, all Customer Collection orders so the client knows what is awaiting collection at any time. Ensure the Customer Collection process is followed for all orders leaving the warehouse.
  • Accurately file all picked and dispatched order paperwork so it can be easily located for future reference if required, archiving documents at regular intervals.
  • Submit daily cycle counts to the client and follow up on feedback with the warehouse team until resolved.
  • Answer all phone calls from the client team and company's colleagues in a timely and professional manner, resolving queries during the phone call wherever possible.
  • Manage the client email box, replying to all emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the client Warehouse Manager to agree priorities each day.
  • *Answer overflow calls from the Palletways division when the Palletways team are unable to answer them.
  • To act as company ambassador when dealing with customers.
  • To complete all paperwork promptly and accurately as required (and to effectively use any equipment provided by the company).
  • To comply with all Health & Safety requirements at company's and at customers' sites and to take responsibility for ensuring own fitness to always attend work.
  • To report all near misses and accidents to a manager as soon as possible and to assist in any following investigations.
  • To attend all training sessions and workshops as and when you are invited.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills with significant experience of creating pivot tables and utilising LookUps.
  • Excellent Attention to Detail.
  • Strong communication Skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritise competing tasks and stay calm under pressure.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Previous experience of SAP.
  • Previous experience of a similar role.
  • Previous experience of working with a WMS (ideally Corax).
  • Previous experience of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.

Your Contractual Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm
  • 20 days holidays + bank holidays
  • May occasionally be required to work at other company's sites
  • May occasionally be required to visit customers sites
