Warehouse Coordinator (£20-£25k DOE)
Sector - Contract Manufacturing
Your Role
Direct line management of Materials and logistics coordinator. Other important relationships with: Head of Technical Services, Finance Controller, Office Coordinator, Scientists, QA Manager
This role will be key in allowing the business to run smoothly and allow our Scientists the freedom to do their jobs. The company sells into highly regulated commercial markets and it is important that our facilities remain fit for purpose and safe, and that we order, receive and send goods in a timely and well-controlled manner with appropriate documentation.
Facilities responsibilities including:
Arranging inhouse facilities improvements / general maintenance.
Arranging and managing external contractors relating to the safe and optimal performance of our facilities including but not limited to ensuring a safe system of work (SSOW), permits to work and approval of work completed.
H&S committee.
Logistics responsibilities include
Ordering of goods for the company, maintain the approved supplier list.
Booking in of goods and warehousing.
Maintain the GIMS database and equipment register in iPassport.
Shipments using appropriate third parties out of the company.
Develop and maintain the Company's stability storage suite.
Quality
Continuous improvement of all the above all within a SSOW and within the parameters of our Quality System.
Assistance with maintaining documentation in the QA system as required.
To always dress and act in a professional manner.
To lead by example, demonstrating professionalism to colleagues commensurate with post.
To comply with all quality control procedures to support maintenance of the Quality Management System.
To comply with safe working practices
To participate and reasonably engage in the Annual Joint Staff Review process
To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with grade and experience.
