RUSSELL Taylor is to sponsor a major award at the Wirral Business Awards 2015.

The company will sponsor the Business of the Year (11-49 employees) category in the annual awards which celebrate the best of the borough's innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

The awards, organised by Wirral Chamber of Commerce, also recognise Wirral's diverse business excellence in categories including sustainability, manufacturing, international trade and people development.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Friday, September 18 being held in Thornton Manor's walled garden pavilion.

Russell Taylor chairman Peter Russell said: “Brilliance and innovation are the driving force behind Wirral's businesses which in turn not only add to the success of our thriving local economy but also help to put Wirral on the map.

“We are therefore delighted to be sponsoring this award which recognises the outstanding contribution companies of this size make to the community.”

Russell Taylor was a finalist at last year's Wirral Business Awards in the People Development category.
