Major growth by Russell Taylor Group has resulted in the business almost doubling its turnover in the past three years.

Based on data for the first quarter of this year, the Bromborough technical recruitment company reports it is well on track for a figure of more than £22million. In 2013,  turnover for the core Russell Taylor operation was £10,908,096.

During the same three-year period, the number of full-time staff has also almost doubled from just less than 30 to 55 who are servicing more than 200 clients in the UK.

The upturn in business means Russell Taylor Group is now payrolling around 650 temporary workers on a weekly basis in the construction and technical engineering sectors along with a record number of permanent placements within the company's continually expanding client base and with monthly permanent fee income exceeding an average of £60,000 so far this year.

Operations director Rob Kurton said: “The past three years have been hugely exciting for Russell Taylor Group. Month on month throughout this period, we have been experiencing growth due to the upturn in the national engineering and construction markets which has resulted in more jobs being filled than ever before with long standing clients as well as with many new ones within our core vertical markets.”

With continued growth, the business is now focussed on achieving £30m turnover by 2017.
