In a year about to surpass all its previous achievements, Russell Taylor Group has been named Business of the Year at a major awards ceremony.

The company received the accolade, in the category of 11 to 50 employees, at the annual Wirral Business Awards which celebrate the positive impact businesses make on the growth of the local, national and international economy as well as their excellence and innovation.

Managing director Ben Russell said: “This award comes at a time of great reflection about the amazing achievements of a family firm which, in its relatively short history, has grown to become a major player on a global platform in the technical engineering and construction recruitment market.

“This year we are well on target to celebrate 2016 as our best trading year ever with a turnover of more than £15m. We also saw an increase in our workforce to deal with the rise in business growth, our sales staff doubling in the past two years to service demand from clients seeking to recruit staff and candidates looking for jobs.

“However, our roots are still firmly placed in Wirral and, with further exciting expansion plans for the future, this award wholeheartedly endorses our commitment to the growth of the local economy.”
