A total of 65 shoe boxes full of gifts – each one representing an employee at the group's businesses Russell Taylor and Recruit Right – has been donated by the company to Operation Christmas Child, the annual appeal run by international relief charity Samaritan's Purse.

Russell Taylor Group managing director Ben Russell said: “Those of us who are looking forward to spending Christmas with our families are reminded at this time of the year that not everyone is as fortunate as us.

“Filling these shoe boxes with toys and other items to bring some comfort and joy is one small way we can help make a difference to children in Moldova who have virtually nothing.”

Simon Barrington, executive director at Samaritan's Purse, added: “Every shoe box is packed with love, bringing the true meaning of Christmas to children.
