Permanent recruiting hits all-time high for Russell Taylor Group

A SURPRISING economic upturn has produced Russell Taylor Group's best ever month for permanent recruiting.

The main sectors showing the company's record figures are in manufacturing, construction and technical engineering.

Operations director Rob Kurton said: “Our previous best was in August 2016 but the past month has seen a 25 per cent increase in these figures.

“As it's still only April, it's very much early days yet and we're confident things will really take off in the quarter ending June and then the third quarter of the year up to September.

“Post Brexit there was some uncertainty in our markets but now there's been a big economic change and it's looking like a real upturn for us.”

Earlier this year, Russell Taylor Group, which has become the fastest growing recruiter in all sectors, acquired national specialist recruiter Assist Resourcing Group.

This move closely followed the expansion of its sector portfolio with a new Manufacturing Division and a new team of specialist recruiters servicing areas including automotive, aerospace, food, pharmaceutical and science, general manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods.

The business, with national headquarters in Bromborough, Wirral, was already operating on a national and international platform in construction management, technical and engineering, construction and civils trades and industrial trades.

Rob added: “Our expansion has already resulted in us taking on another 12 new consultants this year to better serve our clients and candidates.”
