Dynamic and ambitious plans are being put into place at Russell Taylor Group’s Wales operation as the business looks forward to another year of growth.

From its base on Wrexham Industrial Estate – one of the biggest industrial parks in Europe – the team has its sights set on contributing to the sustainable economic growth of the region.

Heading up the team there is Tom Hammond who said: “Our portfolio of Welsh businesses is continuing to expand and we are firmly committed to the region’s growth strategy and its vision to bring increased productivity and jobs.

“Here in Wrexham we are in a great position to deliver our plans for the future – it’s a place where construction is always booming.”

Russell Taylor Group’s Welsh office moved to its current larger premises on the industrial estate’s Wilkinson Business Park after outgrowing its original base in Chester. It’s a bilingual office with team members acknowledging the importance of supporting organisations who prefer to do business in Welsh.

Tom, who completed his MBA degree while studying at Wrexham Glyndwr University, joins the Russell Taylor Wales operation with a strong background in sales and business development and brings with him a firm belief that a retention framework has to be the main focus of attention.

He said: “Retention is vital and creates strength in this industry.”

Tom’s team comprises senior consultant Danny Speed, consultant Terry Nelson, trainee consultant Jamie Lowe and Hannah Roberts who is responsible for admin support.

Tom added: “We are a true team, working together for all our clients and candidates, proud of our Welsh roots and committed to the sustained growth of a vibrant economy for Wales.”
