A team from Russell Taylor Group is putting their running shoes on for the MBNA Chester Marathon. They have all volunteered to fundraise for Claire House Children's Hospice, the company's nominated charity for 2018.

The event will see Russell Taylor employees Rob Kurton, Lauren Adamson, Lewis Williams, Gregory Howard and Ben Evans tackle 26.2 miles on Sunday 7th October.

The marathon route will take Team RTG run past all of Chester's iconic landmarks (Roman Walls, Cathedral, Medieval Rows,  Eastgate Clock, Amphitheatre) before heading out to the stunning Cheshire and North Wales countryside and villages; returning alongside the River Dee for a unforgettable finish at the Racecourse.

Russell Taylor’s Managing Director, Rob Kurton, said: “I am extremely proud that once again staff have volunteered to face this incredibly hard challenge to raise money for Claire House, and somehow, I’ve managed to be roped in again! Judging by the training so far, it’s an endurance test like no other and I know we’ll all have to put every ounce of commitment and enthusiasm into it.”

The aim for the Marathon is to raise a total of £1,800, but as a group of over-achievers, Team RTG would love to see the pot overflowing! If you wish to support us in our fundraising mission for Claire House, please visit our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/russell-taylor26
