A multi-faceted and multi-award winning RIBA Chartered architectural practice based in Manchester is looking to appoint a talented and ambitious Architect to join its growing healthcare team.
This respected multi-disciplinary practice has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and technically robust projects across several sectors, with particular expertise in healthcare design. Their teams work closely with clients and end users to develop environments that support clinical excellence, operational efficiency and improved patient wellbeing.

The Role
As part of the healthcare team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of a wide range of healthcare environments - from refurbishments and specialist clinical spaces through to larger scale developments.
Working alongside experienced architects, technicians and consultants, you will play an active role in shaping projects from early feasibility stages through to construction and completion.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, clinicians and stakeholders to deliver facilities that support the evolving needs of modern healthcare.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the delivery of projects across RIBA Work Stages 0-7
• Assisting with the development of design concepts, feasibility studies and technical packages
• Preparing architectural drawings, BIM models and supporting documentation
• Coordinating with consultants and specialist project teams
• Supporting the preparation of planning, building regulations and tender documentation
• Participating in design reviews and client meetings
• Visiting project sites to monitor progress and ensure quality standards
• Helping to resolve design and technical issues during project delivery
• Contributing to sustainable and environmentally responsible design approaches

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and proactive Architect looking to gain exposure to technically demanding healthcare projects within a supportive practice.
You will be able to demonstrate:
• RIBA Part 3 qualification and ARB registration
• Around 2-5 years' post-qualification experience
• Experience working within UK architectural practice
• Strong Revit and BIM capability
• Good knowledge of UK building regulations and technical standards
• Experience contributing to projects through multiple RIBA stages
• Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery
Experience within the healthcare sector would be advantageous, though not essential.
