I am currently in the market for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/ Junior Estimator for SME contractor. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are in the market to add to their commercial teams with an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Due to the size of the business this position would also involve some estimating within the role.
They would like a dynamic and forward-thinking Assistant Quantity Surveyor/ Junior Estimator to come and join their commercial team. The candidate they are looking for will be driven and keen to learn and thrive in their business.
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will ideally be working for a refurbishment contractor. My clients spread of contracts range from 1million up to about 6 million. The Assistant Quantity Surveyors would be working on Windows and Glazing projects, more specifically on listed buildings or heritage projects. My client work in refurbishment's within the specialist sectors of on heritage and listed historic buildings. They are open to speak with Assistants or Trainees working for sub-contractors.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and developing contractor.
Individual Requirements:
• Relevant Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar (BSc level or equivalent) or working towards
• Construction Industry related experience
My client is happy to consider various levels from Graduate, Junior, Trainee and Proven Assistants.
