We're partnering with a leading global consultancy to find a talented Associate Structural Engineer ready to take on complex, high-impact work within the nuclear and defence sectors. You'll join a technically focused team delivering innovative, safety-critical solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
This role is ideal for a Chartered Engineer who thrives on technical excellence-offering the opportunity to stay hands-on with design, analysis, and problem-solving in a highly regulated environment, without line management responsibilities.
The role can be based from any of our clients northwest offices in Manchester, Preston or Cumbria, with excellennt hybrid working arrangements in all cases.
What you'll be doing
• Deliver structural design and analysis from concept through to implementation
• Produce and assure high-quality technical outputs (calculations, reports, specifications)
• Provide expert input within multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to safety cases, verification, and technical assurance
• Solve complex engineering challenges collaboratively
