•£40k to £50k basic salary
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 28 over time)
• Overtime and site uplifts available
• Hybrid working with flexible start and finish times
• 12pm finish on a Friday.
What will you be doing?
• You will be responsible for preparing CAD drawings for control system projects within the Rail industry.
• You will continuously review CAD processes with the aim of making improvements and enhancements
• You will manage the centralized CAD repository
• You will develop excellent working relationships with designers to ensure effective and efficient production of project CAD drawings
• You will provide CAD training as requested
• You will assist engineering and project management with project works including design and installation of engineering solutions to customer specifications
Where will you be doing it?
Based near Burton-upon-Trent, our client is a market leader in the provision of detailed engineered
solutions for safety, control and automated applications in the rail industry.
What projects will you be working on:
• Automatic Selective Door Opening and Correct Side Door Enabling systems.
• Specialist CCTV cameras for Driver Only Operation and Pantograph Monitoring
• Train Control and Management Systems, Train Communication Networks, Vehicle Control units; Vigilance Control Systems.
• SCADA projects - station and trackside
• Customer Information Systems
• Level Crossing control and signalling control systems
What you'll need:
• You'll have significant experience of using AutoCad or equivalent drawing packages
• You'll have CAD experience within a relevant rail environment
